Life Lately: A New Perspective

June 28, 2017

It's been two weeks since the last time I blog and I miss it already. I want to blog as often as possible. However, due to sudden changes, I had to skip blogging and freelancing. I need to adjust from a lot of changes in my life.

Even though I don't usually blog, I make it a point to spend a few hours writing my heart out. It is my solace. A form of relaxation to avoid life's stresses. I've been writing non-stop during my free time. Anyways, I just want to share what I've been up to lately. The things that are keeping me busy and occupied.

Work

This job is not my first choice. Not even my second choice. But I still grab the opportunity and saw the silver lining.
  • My job is not related to my course but it is quite similar to my previous work.
  • Living in the Metro will give me the chance to be brave and independent.
  • The company offers a lot of benefits.
  • This will serve as a training ground for me to learn more about the industry I'm really interested.

Haircut

Last June 15, I decided to have another haircut. My style inspiration was Erich Gonzales. But of course, my hair is far different from hers. I looked like Dora the Explorer. HAHAHA!
And now, my hair looks wavy and unmanageable. I still liked it this way. The reason why I had my hair cut is that I'm experiencing extreme hair fall.Since my hair is shorter, it will be easier for me to take care of it.

Environment

I never thought that I'll have the guts to move in Metro Manila. My whole life was spent in the province. In the comforts of our home, being taken good care by my family. But life is truly unexpected. In just a snap, I decided to let go and break the box. I decided to leave the place I am most comfortable and stayed in a strange place.

Truly, change is inevitable. After all, change is the only permanent thing in the world.

Victory

Finally! After years of being curious, I am now part of Victory. I really want to join ever since. However, I know I can't commit because I'm not ready. Luckily, when I moved here, there's a Victory church located in a nearby mall. There are two churches near my place of work.

Joining Victory is a part of a new season of my life. A season I'm excited about. This is a big step towards my goal to know God, to thank Him, to praise Him, and to renew my faith. Since I joined Victory, I become happier. It is as exciting as I expected it to be. I can't wait to meet the ladies in group I'm going to be part of.

Friends

I'm living under one roof with people who are strange to me. Well, they used to be strangers a few weeks ago. Now, they are my friends. We are different from each other. I am the only one from Quezon, Province and most of them are from Bicol region. It doesn't really matter. My dorm mates have been really nice to me. There are differences when it comes to culture or beliefs and languages, but there's one thing that's the same; we treat each other as friends and family.
